An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join the Debenhams creative team, working collaboratively with the wider creative and design team, in delivering world class content for all channels. The role is responsible for the management and development of a team and is supported by a retouch team and production team and will work closely with the rest of the Brand, specifically Marketing, Digital, Product and Buying.

We create connections and give each brand character so that what we put out into the world can become part of our customers’ daily lives. Everything we do is seen by millions of customers across web, social, email, campaigns, PR and events.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Continuously evolve and improve the creative aesthetic of the Debenhams group brands (Dorothy Perkins, Burton, Oasis, Coast & Wallis) in order to keep them best in class from a design point of view.
- Work with 2nd senior graphic designer to deliver all BAU design assets on time and to an exceptional standard.
- Working closely with the Head of creative and wider design team take concepts and develop them across all touch points.
- Implement and review new systems and procedures to improve daily workflow and effective planning of upcoming jobs
- Work closely with the Head of Creative and wider design and marketing team to ensure that all design work is in line with Debenhams brand strategy.
- Act as a brand guardian to ensure creative output is consistent across all multi-channel touch points.
- Work in a team of 11 creatives.
- Develop creative for all ad-hoc and seasonal projects e.g. press events etc.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Creative awareness and an ability to combine an innovative approach with commercial ideas
- Proficient in adobe suite / figma
- Knowledge or interest in ai in the creative space
- Knowledge or experience in motion design
- Flexible and enjoy working in a high pace, fast moving and changing environment
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
- Good networker and communicator and the capacity to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Experience of presenting to Senior Management.
- Ability to work with others and able to influence and communicate effectively across all levels
- Excellent people management skills
- Commitment, drive and self motivation
- Experience in working with and managing creative designers
