PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

WHY JOIN THE TEAM:
You'll join a collaborative Brand Partnership environment and work closely with UK and US Sales and Marketing colleagues. The role offers hands-on ownership across campaign setup, optimisation, analysis and reporting, with exposure to multiple accounts and stakeholders. It's an opportunity to strengthen your paid social expertise while contributing to clear, high-quality campaign delivery within BBC Studios.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Build, launch and manage paid social campaigns primarily across Meta, as well as other advertising platforms including Google, TikTok and Snapchat Ads.
- Monitor in-flight campaign performance, analyse results and recommend optimisations, working closely with the Paid Social Manager where additional support is required.
- Collect and quality-check performance data across multiple accounts, producing accurate Excel and PowerPoint reports with clear, well-presented charts.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis, translate findings into practical recommendations and prepare client-ready updates for external and non-marketing audiences.
- Manage campaign requirements, timings and workload effectively, communicating deadlines and capacity while collaborating with the Paid Social Manager, Brand Partnership, Sales and Marketing teams.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Paid social experience, gained in-house or within an agency environment.
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, including Facebook and Instagram activity.
- Strong understanding of paid social KPIs, campaign performance drivers and how to use data to optimise activity and inform recommendations.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and post-campaign analysis.
- A high degree of accuracy in data handling, given reports are issued directly to clients.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads (YouTube), TikTok and Snapchat Ads Manager.
- Experience with Google Ads/Ad Manager or other relevant Google advertising platforms.
- Hands-on experience with TikTok, Snapchat or YouTube advertising.
If you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
NEXT STEPS:
We appreciate your interest in this position and understand how important this opportunity is to you. Due to the high volume of interest we may need to close the application period earlier than anticipated. This step is necessary to ensure we can provide a high level of attention and service to all applicants. Thank you for your understanding.
