Join the team who have created awarded winning experiences, now creating Until Dawn 2!
Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven Producer who has a breadth of experience across multiple game development disciplines. The ideal candidate has cinematic pipeline experience, either as a whole, or working with individual disciplines within the overall cinematic pipeline.
You will work closely with Cinematic Production to support the day-to-day running of the cinematics through the entire development pipeline, working closely with the internal teams and external development partners to ensure milestone goals are delivered.
This role has the potential to grow into a core pillar of production.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the day-to-day running of their assigned teams, ensuring they are neither blocking, or blocked by, upstream or downstream teams.
- Assess risk promptly, working with your Lead to enact effective mitigations which are communicated across the team quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure clarity of deliverables/goals across all disciplines, not just your own.
- Following established process, disseminate feedback to your team while minimising randomisation.
- Daily project maintenance: bug triage, backlog refinement, unblocking teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally three years of games industry experience in an internal development environment in a production or development role.
- Has an excellent understanding of Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Jira and/or Shotgrid with a willingness to learn unfamiliar production software and processes.
- Experience producing across several cinematic disciplines.
- A driven individual who can encourage teams to collaborate through adversity.
- Capable of speaking across all levels of the company, from Studio Head to Junior Developer.
- Knowledge of videogame cinematography concepts and terminology, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- A love of videogames and cinema.
- A strong desire to learn.
- Able to surface data and speak to it, even when unflattering.
- Keen to chase solutions to problems outside their remit.
- Equally adept leading reviews with Directors as running daily scrums.
- Adaptable to the needs of the project.
- Understands the importance of accountability, approaches challenges proactively, and promotes transparent, open, and honest communication within and across teams.
- Demonstrates integrity by communicating openly about progress and setbacks and takes ownership for both individual and team outcomes.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking fully remote working within the UK.
Please note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks.
