We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Brand Manager to work as part of our Cereal Partners UK team at our head office in Welwyn Garden City. You will report directly into the Local Brands Marketing Manager to help drive growth on one of our top 3 core brands, Shreddies, as well as leading our Nestlé cereal portfolio promotions.

Cereal Partners Worldwide is a successful 50/50 joint venture between Nestlé S.A. and General Mills Inc. At Cereal Partners UK, we have established ourselves as one of the largest cereal manufacturers in the UK, making many well-loved brands with a long heritage. Our aim is simple: to provide high quality, nutritious and great tasting breakfast cereals. You could join our mission to Make Breakfast Better!

Your impact:

As a Brand Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of one of UK's most iconic and best-loved cereal brands: Shreddies.

This is a great opportunity to join the team during an exciting period for the brand and take on a broad, high-impact role with significant visibility across the business. As a key member of the Shreddies team, you will have the autonomy to own projects, influence strategic decisions and lead cross-functional teams that help shape the future of the brand, from long-term strategy and portfolio development through to the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.

The role offers the ideal next step for an ambitious marketer looking to broaden their experience and make a tangible impact on a household-name brand.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Help shape & execute Shreddies annual growth plans, partnering with the Marketing Manager to deliver business and brand objectives, with ownership of key initiatives and responsibility for delivering impactful Nestlé Cereals portfolio promotions.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in the development & delivery of high-profile marketing campaigns, gaining hands-on experience across the full marketing mix, from ATL and BTL activations to fully integrated consumer communications.
  • Lead innovation and renovation projects identifying consumer growth opportunities and translating them into compelling concept and successful launches.
  • Leverage consumer insights, market data and business performance metrics to identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
  • Ensure digital, social and eCommerce are embedded throughout brand and communication plans.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams bringing together stakeholders across Commercial, Insights, R&D, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver brand growth initiatives.
  • Partner with external agencies to deliver best-in-class media, creative, PR and promotional activity.
  • Play an active role within the UK Brand Marketing team, contributing to team culture, capability and cross-brand collaboration.
  • Evaluate campaign and programme effectiveness, applying learnings to optimise future activity.
  • Manage brand budgets responsibly, maximising return on investment and driving efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behaviours and competitor activity to help maintain brand relevance and competitive advantage in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Your ingredients for success:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring proven FMCG marketing experience and already be operating in a Brand Manager position with significant project ownership. Commercially minded, proactive and results-driven, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where balancing strategic thinking with flawless execution is key. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to turn insights into actions that drive brand growth. Highly organised and collaborative, you'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously, leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

You’ll also have:

  • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, adapting your approach for audiences ranging from customers and agency partners to senior business leaders.
  • Strong track record of leading complex cross-functional projects from concept through to execution and delivery.
  • Experience delivering integrated marketing communications campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience leading innovation or renovation projects from concept through to launch.
  • Expertise in using consumer, market and performance data to evaluate results, identify opportunities and shape future plans.
