INKLING is a 10-minute surreal psychological horror short inspired by Scandinavian folklore, shot in Klädesholmen, near Gothenburg, in November 2026.
The film is a slow-burn, atmospheric horror focused on claustrophobia, paranoia and creeping dread. We’re looking for dark, intimate and oppressive lighting, using practical/motivated light, shadow and subtle shifts in atmosphere.
We’re a small international creative team looking for an experienced Gaffer / Lighting Technician who can take ownership of the lighting side of the production. Translating our visual references into practical setups, advising on equipment and executing the lighting on set.
We have a total lighting budget of €5,000 for the two-day shoot, including the gaffer fee and lighting equipment.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone with their own equipment or who can source and organise the required lighting package within this budget.
