Digital Content & Social Media Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Digital Content & Social Media Assistant to support a contemporary artist and related art organisation projects.
This is a part-time role, approximately 1-2 days per week, with a strong focus on short-form art video editing and social media publishing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other platforms
- Work with footage from exhibitions, performances, openings, artworks and studio processes
- Select and organise video and photography materials
- Colour correction, sound editing, subtitles and final export
- Prepare and publish social media content
- Assist with photography and video recording when required
- Maintain a consistent and sophisticated visual presentation across artist and art organisation accounts
Requirements:
- Proven professional experience in video editing and digital content production
- Highly proficient and technically confident in video editing
- Strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent software
- Good understanding of photography equipment, cameras, lenses, lighting and basic audio equipment
- Strong visual judgement and a refined understanding of contemporary art aesthetics
- Experience with short-form social media content
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Fluent English
- Chinese language ability is highly desirable
Experience working with artists, galleries, museums or cultural organisations is preferred.
