About the Role:
Reporting to the Director, Case Law Content Performance and Operations, the UK Managing Editor, Cases is responsible for leading UK-based editorial teams delivering case law content across the UK portfolio. The role has overall accountability for business-as-usual production across online case law and Law Reports, ensuring content meets established standards for quality, timeliness, and completeness while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement. Based in the UK (Farringdon / Lexis House), this position also plays a key role in the adoption of AI-enabled workflows and editorial innovation.
Responsibilities:

Oversee workflows for UK case law content across digital and print formats, ensuring quality, accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.

Collaborate with commercial and product stakeholders to align editorial output with market requirements and opportunities.

Develop, monitor, and report on editorial metrics and performance indicators aligned to operational objectives.

Drive adoption, growth, and integration of systems, tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions within editorial processes.

Lead UK-based editorial teams delivering case law content across the UK portfolio.

Ensure online case law and Law Reports outputs meet established standards for quality, timeliness, and completeness.

Support operational efficiency and performance management within a structured, high-performance environment.

Contribute to innovation, consistency, productivity, and quality across editorial operations.
Requirements:

Experience leading editorial teams and content production operations (legal content).

Ability to manage complex workflows across digital and print publishing environments.

Strong focus on quality, accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence.

Experience using performance metrics and reporting to drive outcomes.

Ability to collaborate effectively with commercial and product stakeholders.

Experience supporting process improvement, automation, or AI-enabled workflows.
