About the role:

The Senior Retail Technical Designer plays a pivotal role in turning creative concepts into fully developed, scalable and production-ready solutions. Leading the 3D and technical design process, this role ensures that creative intent is translated into detailed CAD models and buildable fixturing systems suited for both bespoke and mass manufacture.

Working across global markets the position collaborates closely with procurement, production and creative teams to manage suppliers, oversee prototyping, and deliver high-quality outcomes. With strong project management responsibilities, the role guides projects from initial brief through to installation, balancing commercial objectives with design integrity. This position requires extensive technical expertise, international manufacturing experience and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships while upholding consistent global brand standards.

Experience:

2-3 years experience in account or project management within a creative or agency environment is advantageous.

Confident managing multiple projects, budgets, timelines and client communications.

Familiarity with project management systems (Synergist) and working across multidisciplinary design teams is beneficial.

Experience preparing scopes, schedules, cost proposals and reconciliation reports is useful.

Skills:

Strong communicator, able to build trusted client relationships and lead meetings confidently.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

Commercially aware, able to manage budgets, monitor forecasts and identify opportunities for account growth.

Good understanding of creative workflows across branding, retail, environments, digital or motion.

Logical thinker with the ability to interpret briefs, contribute ideas and support creative problem-solving.

Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Perks:

We have some great perks and benefits, including flexible start & finish times. With 8 bank holidays and an additional 4 paid days off work during our Christmas closure, our staff enjoy 32 days of holiday per year. We also offer the option to purchase additional holiday through a salary sacrifice scheme. Other benefits include free counselling sessions through our Employee Assistance Programme, a gym membership contribution, a cycle-to-work scheme, weekly studio lunch and more. We also give all staff a Perkbox account. That means you’ll get instant 24/7 access to more than 250 perks and discounts from some of the UK’s biggest brands, including supermarkets, cinemas, shops, restaurants, and travel, as well as lots of freebies.
