We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented print designer to join our Phase Eight team on a 12 month Maternity Contract. Focusing on our Occasion and Ready to Wear collection, this opportunity will see you focus on designing and creatively developing unique print artworks.

Research and forecast print trends relevant to our Phase Eight customer to create seasonal mood boards and colour palettes.
- Develop and refine original artworks using both hand-drawing and digital skills.
- Collaborating closely with the wider design team to ensure our prints align with our brand's vision.
- Managing the end-to-end design process, from sending out print packs and colour standards to suppliers to ensuring all prints are delivered on time and within budget.
- Visiting stores and attending shows to gather inspiration and valuable customer feedback.

Previous experience within print design with a focus on Occasion and Ready to Wear ideally.
- Highly skilled in hand drawing and painting with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Knowledgeable about print production within the fashion/retail space, including how to prepare files for both screen and digital printing.
- Strong understanding and experience of engineered and placement print techniques
- Be proactive and collaborative when working within a team dynamic, eager to contribute to our Phase Eight brand creative vision.
- A strong understanding of the fashion/retail market within print design, with an eye on both aspirational and competitive brands.
