We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented print designer to join our Phase Eight team on a 12 month Maternity Contract. Focusing on our Occasion and Ready to Wear collection, this opportunity will see you focus on designing and creatively developing unique print artworks.

  • Research and forecast print trends relevant to our Phase Eight customer to create seasonal mood boards and colour palettes.

  • Develop and refine original artworks using both hand-drawing and digital skills.
  • Collaborating closely with the wider design team to ensure our prints align with our brand's vision.
  • Managing the end-to-end design process, from sending out print packs and colour standards to suppliers to ensuring all prints are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Visiting stores and attending shows to gather inspiration and valuable customer feedback.
  • Previous experience within print design with a focus on Occasion and Ready to Wear ideally.

  • Highly skilled in hand drawing and painting with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Knowledgeable about print production within the fashion/retail space, including how to prepare files for both screen and digital printing.
  • Strong understanding and experience of engineered and placement print techniques
  • Be proactive and collaborative when working within a team dynamic, eager to contribute to our Phase Eight brand creative vision.
  • A strong understanding of the fashion/retail market within print design, with an eye on both aspirational and competitive brands.
