Email Designer
Featured job
We are currently recruiting for an Email Designer, creating engaging, responsive email campaigns that bring our brand to life and deliver exceptional customer experiences across every touchpoint. Please attach your portfolio for consideration.
About the Role:
As an Email Designer, you will play a key role in the creation and delivery of visually compelling email campaigns across editorial, promotional, triggered, and transactional communications. Working closely with content, CRM, creative, and strategy teams, you will design and build high-quality emails that are both brand-focused and performance-driven. You'll help ensure every campaign is optimised for mobile devices, aligned to best practice, and supports ongoing improvements in customer engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Design high-quality email campaigns in Figma for editorial, promotional, and brand partner communications.
- Create engaging digital assets in Photoshop for email content across a variety of categories, including fashion, beauty, food, and technology.
- Build and prepare responsive, modular email templates within Emarsys using reusable content blocks and dynamic variations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate feedback and ensure all emails meet creative, functional, and personalisation requirements.
- Test and optimise emails across devices, email clients, mobile platforms, and dark mode environments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.
Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.
About You:
You will be a creative thinker with a genuine passion for digital design and a keen eye for detail. You will enjoy transforming briefs into engaging customer communications and be motivated by creating work that is both visually impactful and commercially effective. You will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining consistently high standards. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with a range of stakeholders and contributing positively to the wider team. Most importantly, you will be eager to learn, embrace new ideas, and continuously develop your skills in an evolving digital landscape.
You'll also have:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, alongside experience using Figma.
- Knowledge of email design best practices, including responsive design, mobile optimisation, and email testing.
- Experience working with email platforms and dynamic content, with exposure to triggered email campaigns considered advantageous.
