Brand Designer
Job
We're building a world-class in-house creative agency and are looking for a talented Senior Brand Designer to help evolve and strengthen the visual identities of some of the UK's most well-known consumer brands.
This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who loves creating and developing brand systems, visual identities and design frameworks that bring brands to life. You'll work within a small but growing design team, helping to shape how brands look, feel and behave across multiple touchpoints.
This role is focused on branding and identity design, not advertising campaigns. We're looking for someone who enjoys building brands, creating visual systems and taking ideas from concept through to production.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the development and evolution of brand identities and design systems
- Working on brand refreshes, rebrands and visual identity projects
- Developing logos, illustration styles, iconography and graphical assets
- Creating and maintaining brand guidelines and design system documentation
- Producing high-quality creative work from concept through to final delivery
- Collaborating closely with Lead Designers and the wider creative team
- Contributing to the growth of an ambitious in-house creative function
- Ensuring consistency across visual assets and brand applications
- Working across both digital and offline brand touchpoints
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Proven experience within a Brand Designer, Senior Brand Designer, Visual Identity Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, rebranding or brand refresh projects
- Experience creating and developing visual identity systems and brand guidelines
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Strong Figma experience
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual communication
- Ability to take creative concepts through to production-ready assets
- Experience working within a branding agency, design consultancy, in-house brand team or creative studio environment
Highly Desirable:
- Experience working on major consumer-facing brands
- Background in brand strategy implementation
- Frontify or other brand management platform experience
- Illustration development experience
- Motion design awareness
- Experience helping build or scale creative teams and design functions
The Ideal Candidate:
You'll be a creative thinker with strong design craft and a passion for building brands. You won't necessarily be looking for a leadership role, but you'll be confident owning projects, contributing ideas and producing outstanding design work.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience from branding agencies, identity-focused studios or in-house brand teams who can demonstrate:
- Rebrand projects
- Visual identity creation
- Design systems
- Logo design
- Brand guideline development
- Concept-to-production delivery
Please Note:
A portfolio showcasing relevant brand identity and design system work is required as part of the application process.
