This will include creating engaging social media posts tailored for each of the schools core social media channels, monitoring inboxes and responding to enquiries, providing expert social media advice to communicators around the school, and regularly reporting on the performance of content to better inform future campaigns.

  • Develop creative social media content that informs, entertains and delights audiences and maximises engagement with the school community members and other key audiences. Optimise content for each platform, ensuring brand compliance and adherence to house style.
  • Work with other content-creating teams to easily repurpose content for social media channels, improve processes for social media optimisation, and adapt to changes in social media tools as they evolve.
  • Lead daily community management across all central social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter). Monitor social media enquiries and conversations, liaise with internal stakeholders as required, and respond appropriately in a timely manner and with a strong focus on customer service.

Thorough understanding of the UK and international social media landscapes, current trends, industry standards and best practice for each platform.
