We're looking for a brilliant Internal Communications Manager to join our group IC team at a hugely exciting time for Reach plc, one of the UK + ROI’s biggest news publishers.

Our new IC Manager will report to the Group Head of Internal Communications, working with a high degree of autonomy and forming excellent business partner relationships with our senior team. The successful candidate will drive communications campaigns that land with impact and help our business hit its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping to drive the successful execution of Reach’s internal communication strategy to support our business goals and people priorities.
  • Working with our people leaders to communicate in ways that inspire, motivate and connect our 5000 colleagues across the UK and ROI.
  • Develop coordinated, effective and measured communication messages and campaigns to inspire our colleagues to deliver on strategic goals.
  • Form productive business partnerships with key stakeholders to support the successful execution of projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for candidates with experience in a similar internal communications role, with proven success of developing and executing impactful strategies and plans. You will be values-driven, optimistic and curious, and of course, passionate about brilliant internal comms!

You will also have:

  • Excellent knowledge of best practice internal communications strategy and tactics.
  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to tailor to the audience and to adapt brand tone/style.
  • Brilliant stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, and gain people’s confidence and buy-in.
  • Creative eye and knowledge of brand, marketing and EVP strategies.
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement with a high degree of initiative.
