Global Artwork and Production co-ordinator

We are expanding our artwork management team, to drive higher quality of print, consistency, efficiencies in process and timings and to technically support local markets from design to print.
The primary purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the creation and approval of packaging artwork from master design, through to commercially reproducible artwork and separations which are handed over to the printer in a timely manner.
The position must interface with internal teams (such as Design, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality) who provide master design files and pack content, and also external partners (print management agencies, design agencies, printers, etc) who deliver the work in the form of artwork using our internal artwork management system.
Key accountabilities:
- Understand the artwork process, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities across internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing and design agencies at the design phase, providing expert guidance and technical inputs to ensure that the design is technically printable before the artwork is routed for internal approval.
- Set-up and run pre-production meetings.
- Take accountability for delivery of mechanical artwork and separation files to printers, proactively manage issues if/as they arise.
- Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously; working with various cross-functional team members.
- Assist with managing the external vendor's compliance within agreed lead time.
- Escalate possible resource challenges to allow upscaling/prioritization.
- To clarify, guide and enforce the global artwork process.
- To actively support artwork generation for Nutrition and Health BU global Powerbrands.
Candidates Requirements:
- Good understanding of technical print for various FMCG packaging.
- Experience in artwork project management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Desire for problem solving.
