We’re looking for a Digital Product Owner to join our energetic and passionate Digital Product Management team who are responsible for the driving the product strategy on some of the largest eCommerce websites in Europe; TUI, First Choice & Marella Cruises. 

Our Digital Product Owners are passionate about creating products that both delight our customers and deliver maximum business value. They use their creativity, customer & commercial insight, agile experience and their excellent stakeholder collaboration skills to create a roadmap of ideas focused on continuously optimise our products. 

We’re looking for someone with 1-2 years product management experience, who’s looking to take their product management career to the next level and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

This role will be based in Luton (just over 20 minutes from central London). 

How you will make an impact as a Digital Product Owner:
There are many ways for you to get involved:   
 
•    You’ll be running your own autonomous digital product team focused on evolving a specific part of our digital sales platform. 
•    Working closely with the Product Manager & Senior Product Owner, you will ensure you have a clearly prioritised backlog and roadmap which will increase engagement, conversion, customer satisfaction and other KPI’s.
•    You will work closely with the Scrum Master to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the scrum team, unblocking impediments and providing clarity on scope to the development team where required.
•    You’ll be collaborating with colleagues from User Experience, Design and Technology to design and deliver the optimum customer experience for each development and liaise with web operations, test and analytics to determine the impact of those changes and track performance.
•    You’ll need to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business to ensure they’re brought into, and supportive of your product strategy.
•    As a Digital Product Owner, you will have a passion to keep up to date with the wider digital sphere to help identify future opportunities to ensure we are at the forefront of innovation, with a good awareness of competitors, trends and digital innovation in order to identify future opportunities.

What you will bring to TUI as a Digital Product Owner:

•    A strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading and inspiring a team to deliver to its full potential.
•    Experience in proactively identifying opportunities and creative problem solving.
•    Ideally you will have experience of working on a large, multi-national eCommerce site.
•    Travel industry experience is desirable, but not necessary. 
•    Experience of working in, or knowledge of, agile scrum.
•    Excellent commercial acumen and decision-making skills.
•    Ability to effectively prioritise a large backlog by balancing and championing both business and customer needs.
•    Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills to drive the implementation of strategic developments through coordination with other business units.
•    Excellent communication skills and are comfortable with communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
•    Confidence to make clear and well-thought recommendations to influence decisions.
