Amazon is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Program Manager with a strong customer focus and with corporate communications experience.

As a Communications Program Manager, you will be the glue bringing together messages from cross-functional teams to communicate to our Field Operations teams, enabling them to realize the customer-centric work Amazon is known for.

This role will manage communications for a growing business and will sustain a program that enables Corporate Operations to effectively communicate with Field Operations, cascading information consistently and smoothly. The role will also ensure that all messaging reinforces our culture and that we have consistent, intentional themes threaded throughout our communications.

The Communications Program manager will be responsible for coordinating content creation of functional messaging, and executing the Operations communications in a growing business. The role requires a self-starter who will take ownership of defining and developing the structure and mechanisms needed to effectively manage these communications.

Everyone on our team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work effectively in a highly collaborative, start-up environment. As a key member of the Operations team, this role will partner with the Sr. Ops. Managers, the Change Manager, and other managers, to ensure that broader business standards and goals are achieved.

The ability to understand the needs of a wide range of internal stakeholders, from Program & Product functions, to Field Operations, and to influence leaders and peers is also key to the success of this role.

The successful Program Manager will be able to:


· Influence multiple cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines. You are the centre and glue of the Communications Program for Operations, and can easily work with Change Managers, Continuous Improvement practitioners, Learning & Development, Field Ops leadership, and a variety of other stakeholders to achieve results.
· Bring excellent program management skills and ability to assess and integrate new information and requirements into plans and schedules seamlessly.
· Write effectively and simplify messaging, so that it can be easily understand and acted on by operations associates within the L1-L3 tiers.
· Think strategically and execute methodically.
· Build, maintain and help improve consistent mechanisms, processes, standards and playbooks to enable execution of important deliverables.
· Highlight and appropriately escalate any bottlenecks that block progress while proposing potential solutions to enable rapid decision making.
· Recommend policies and programs, which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation, and takes action to realise them.
· Earn trust and credibility with stakeholders, management peers and executives.
· Provide regular, precise and effective status updates on key programs, processes and metrics.
· Work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.

Basic Qualifications:

· Proven experience of working in a corporate communications role, with experience of managing communications between corporate and operations/field teams a strong advantage.
· A proven track record of developing highly-creative and impactful communications programs.
· Excellent written and oral English communications skills.
· Innovative and creative.
· A team player spirit, able to work with others to achieve a common goal.
· Time management and organisational skills - used to simultaneously working on several projects at any one time
3+ years’ of experience successfully managing priorities and resources for customer-experience-focused teams.
Advanced MS Office, MS Excel, and online project management tools used to track milestones across multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years’ relevant experience in positions that require analysis and data interpretation of business impact and results.
3+ years’ managing and executing detailed project schedules.
2+ years' working in an operations role.
Multilingual in Spanish, German, French or Italian.
