The Lead Texture Artist is responsible for leading other artists with patience and respect to make sure they are supported and successful. They establish the texturing workflow and technical strategy for their show, while bidding, delegating, creating photoreal hero assets for extreme close-ups, and managing show expectations. Prior experience in photoreal visual effects is essential, as you’ll be instrumental in delivering projects that uphold ILM’s legacy of excellence and innovation. What You’ll Do: Help with handoffs and communicating asset goals and notes between artists, production and supervision. Job description: We are looking for experienced Paint and Roto Artists to work closely with Compositors to help them integrate all elements of an image, including CG and live action, to create film visual effects shots. This includes creating mattes for CG hold-outs as well as using various techniques and software to remove items such as wires, rigs and tracking markers.
